Another little video from Mike Rubbo contrasting cycling in Europe vs that in Australia

Basically, this is a film which says that it is not 'either or', - that
you can love your carbon fibre bike and going fast, but you can also
ride a sit-up bike for transport during the week

If you do, you
be flying the flag for the sort of stately riding we have to introduce
to get bikes as transport going , seriously going, in this country.

"But
I wont go as fast," you say. Exactly.! Riding to the shops or work
should not be about PB, your personal best.

It should be about
you being the image of the happy relaxed cyclist who says with every
pedal stroke, "Come ride with me,"

That's your job, weekdays,
if you really believe in cycling as transport.

It's not going
fast and pissing off drivers because you are in some contest with
yourself, but passing the message that cycling is great, is possible,
is reasonably safe, and is above all, friendly.
