Yes! There is such a thing as a free lunch… To thank cyclists for using a sustainable mode of transport, Environment Canterbury is giving away $5 Subway lunch vouchers! Collect yours between 7.30am to 8.30am on World Environment Day, Thursday 5 June, from two locations:
- Armagh St bridge entrance to Hagley Park
- St Asaph Street near Madras St corner (outside CPIT).
Limited number of vouchers so be early! Make sure you also visit the Step Up Canterbury Sustainable Solutions Expo - great auctions and loads of information. Convention Centre, Kilmore St. 5 June 12 - 8pm

Great Idea - But!!!
What about those of us who don't work in the central city but still bike to work? I ride out to Burnside - along with a fair few others. How about sometimes having the give away points along some of the preferred routes to and from the city?
