Description:

MEET AT CATHEDRAL SQUARE FOR A 5.30PM START

Critical Mass has been happening on and off for a while now, the latest incarnation is usually quite small (20-odd riders) and if I may say, the couple of rides I went on last year had a bit of a "hectoring" tone which to me seemed to miss the celebratory intent of earlier Masses.

However... a friend of mine is back from Europe and intending to join in the July ride and bring lots of friends. Basically these sort of rides are what you make them, depending who shows up... so I said I'd meet her there, and said I'd post it onto spokes.org.

So come along if you're curious, and feel like a "reclaim the streets"-type ride for the week's end. NB: This ride is not organised/endorsed/subsidised by Spokes, or any other group for that matter.

MEET AT CATHEDRAL SQUARE FOR A 5.30PM START. (CM happens on the last Friday of each month at 5pm, in hundreds of cities worldwide.)

For anyone unfamiliar with the Critical Mass concept, it's an international phenomenon, begun in San Francisco in the 90s. Click here for a good overview.
